71 - Captured by Alpha

Ten minutes of sitting quietly at this huge dining table by myself, consuming and tasting almost all the delicious dishes here.

And the tense moments ensued. I waited for the moment when I felt sick to my stomach, or my vision blurred, or my head hurt. Or whatever the symptoms were that indicated I had food poisoning.

But, what a surprise. I didn't feel anything. The feeling of fullness and bloating in my stomach is common, after devouring so many dishes like a glutton.

It's not like this food is poisonous. And Jackson may be away at work. Likewise, the waiters are busy with their duties. I seem to be the only one overthinking here.

"Elly," I called out to my Wolf, who had been silent. With my body strengthening, she also became calmer emotionally. I could feel that she was able to think clearly and help me accurately from now on.

"What if we stay in this place for a longer time?" I said, uttering what had been bothering my mind.
