The feeling of betrayal
Ella was furious on hearing the information from Betty. She felt betrayed and made to drop the call when Betty pleaded with her. Stan watched in silence, though he was not able to hear everything clearly, he could imagine what was been said from the look on Betty’s face.
“Please Ella, for the love we once shared; don’t be mad at me. I need you now more than ever. Please hear me out. It’s not what you think.” Betty pleaded.
“I knew that you were going to slip. I just wasn’t sure when but I knew that your jealousy was going to make you ruin the trust I had for you.”
Betty said nothing. She knew that Ella was right and that she had betrayed their trust. She wondered what Raul’s reaction would be if Ella told him of her betrayal. She recalled that werewolves do not handle betrayal well. It could even lead to her death lest she is granted mercy by any of the alphas.
