Elaine’s POV

Riley and I approached the entrance to the party, her hand nestled securely in mine, I couldn't help but feel a surge of nervous energy coursing through me.

The thumping bass of the music grew louder with each step, and the vibrant glow of neon lights spilled out from the open doorway, beckoning us inside.

Riley's excitement was palpable, her steps quickening with anticipation as we neared the entrance. But for me, each passing moment only served to heighten my apprehension. Images from movies and cautionary tales of parties gone wrong flashed through my mind, filling me with a sense of unease.
