Chapter 40: What is the spirit of a team?

They paused for a moment, and when I thought my words had some value, they resumed their pointless argument. Even attack each other.

I looked helplessly at them.

Suddenly Roger was silent, then Evelyn was motionless.

Seeing the situation getting better, I was happy. “Did you two stop arguing? Can we practice now?"

Roger moves like a robot; his voice is also mechanical. "Ah, it's fine now."

Evelyn also forced a wry smile. "Let's begin."

I frowned, something very unusual. I turned my head, and behind me was a cold face with murderous intent; even I was scared, let alone the two of them.

“Tell me, what have you been practicing?” Ryan is calm but puts all three of us under much pressure.

Roger laughed, twisting his body. "We're getting started."

“Early morning awakened my sleep, only warmed up until noon?” Ryan still hadn't forgotten what happened this morning.

I wanted to laugh but didn’t dare to; I held back until my face turned red.
