Damon couldn't tell his mother the whole story about how he humiliated and harassed her and how she ended up in this situation because of her but if he had no choice then he would tell her everything was what he decided to do.
Damon's mother was opposed to Damon bringing Elevena home, but once she found out what Damon had done to her, she would never forgive him. She never taught him to misbehave with women, and when he speaks rudely to Patricia, she tells him not to.
Damon knew that if he told her the truth, she would blame him and not care about what Elevena had done to him.
