The night was still young, but the turmoil was still deep in our loins. There was only so much that could be done now, and I was worried for my people. I wanted them to have everything. I wanted them to have peace, and not have to deal with all these, but now, we couldn’t make that happen.

“Do you think they would listen to a word we say?” Adam queried as we moved through the dark, cold night.

My eyes were roaming everywhere, and I tried to pick any strange movements, but nothing was untoward.

“I really don’t know what they wish to do. It’s only left for us to try.” I said calmly.

Adam kicked at an undergrowth, spilling mud on me. I frowned slightly, annoyed about the whole thing. I didn’t want to be dealing with all these now, but I was a fighter, and I couldn’t relent.
