MAYA

Sometimes, life was really a pain. And, right now, it was just completely devastating to be alive. I didn’t understand why it felt like I was losing everything there ever was.

I was stuck in this place. It was suddenly more pleasant than the first time, but not less forlorn. The pack boys had done their best to make this place good. I was presently lying in my bunk. It was nice and afforded as much privacy as can be, but it wasn’t the same as being in a home.

I didn’t understand how things went from bad to worse. I didn’t get anything at all. I hated the fact that my carelessness caused everyone this. It was so crazy. I wish I had been more responsible. I shouldn’t have gone to that party. I knew what Chloe was capable of doing, and yet, like a fool, I had gone there.

I couldn’t believe how stupid I could be. This was just not the Maya I wanted to be. I was so useless and stupid, and now, everyone was paying for my mistakes.
