Chapter 34: Imagining

I watched the cup being placed on the table, as I smiled.

“I don't know if you like drinking coffee so I was a little hesitant when preparing it.” She folded her fingers, obviously waiting for me to say something.

Glancing at her, I chuckled. “Of course, I love drinking coffee a lot.” I replied.

I wasn't lying, when I said I love drinking coffee. In fact, when I saw the cup of coffee in Mara's hand's, I had almost thought she knew what I loved.

With a lightened heart, I walked over to the cup of coffee and drank half of the cup.

After drinking, I cleaned my mouth for any coffee stain,

Dropping the coffee cup back on the table, I faced Mara. “Was my sleep a light one?” My question was a sudden one.

I knew it was unexpected, but I couldn't clear the thought of me sleeping just for a few hours.
