Chapter 45: Go ahead

My eyebrows raised in confusion.

“He suddenly disappeared and vanished from my world a month after we figured out he was my mate and I was his mate, so now I'm waiting in hope that I'll find another mate.”

I stood up from the bed, and moved over to her. With my hands patting her back, I said. “don't be sad, I can understand your pain. But what do you mean by "he's longer in your world?”

I was a little hesitant, but I still asked “is he dead?” I asked in a whisper.

Fortunately, Mara shook her head. “No he's not, but rather he's missing or should I say he disappeared himself? I don't really know what to say.”

Feeling relieved at her words, I patted Mara's shoulder even more. “Don't worry. All will be fine.”

“Yes,” she nodded, trying to give a small smile, but it seemed difficult for her. Afterall, she was currently unhappy.
