Chapter Ninety Seven

Ava's POV

"Who is it" Aurora asked

"You heard the knock too?"

"Yeah, it was really loud. So, who is it?"

"I have no idea. The voice didn't sound like Logan's own and I can't recognise it either."

"Are you going to answer it?"

"I don't know, should I?"

"Maybe, I don't know." The knock came again and it startled me. This time, it was louder than before.

"Ava, I think you should answer it."

"Or I should just call for Logan?"

"There is no need to call for Logan. He isn't home."

I gasped and it was as if my air supply had been cut off. The room was sound proofed so how did she hear me asking if I should just call for Logan?

"Ava, I think you should go. Make sure you call me immediately when she leaves. I have to make sure you're still going to be fine."

"Okay, no problem. Love you girl."

"Love you too. I'll talk to you later." When we finished talking, I got up from my bed and walked towards the door with my arms in front of me.
