Chapter Thirty Six: Tears!

Ava's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes and I struggled to understand why someone would go out of his way to do something so kind and special for a person he hasn't known for a very long time. I was short of words and the only thing I could do was shed tears- tears of joy that is.

It was a locket made from shiny silver and had pretty designs of twisting vines on it-they symbolize the strength of the connection. It was a heart shaped that hung from a thin chain and inside it, on the left was the image of the triplets and on the right was my own image.

The tears flowed freely as beautiful memories came flooding back. At that point, I wasn't worried about my make-up and thankfully they used tearproof products for me. My kids were everything and this locket would make me feel them closer than ever.
