Eighty Five

“Oh my goodness,” I whispered as I crawled to a corner of the dark room and rested my back on the wall.

I sat on the corner with my legs wide open. I placed my right hand on my forehead, rubbing it evenly. “Ugh,” I groaned. “Those bastards beat me badly and no nobody helped me. Not even my cousin, Cassey! They just stood there and watched as I got beat up. And after I’d fallen unconscious due to the beating, no one thought it’d be a good idea if I was brought back to my room. This world is so cruel.”

“Ugh,” I groaned painfully as I stood up. My whole body was in pain. Though I couldn’t see any of the bruises on my body, I could feel them.

Luckily for me, I knew the location of the exit doors of the meeting. I stood up and unsteadily headed for the exit. With every step I took, I could feel more pain than I had felt from the previous step. Heading to the exit, I stumbled upon a chair and fell to the floor. “Goddammit!” I cursed.
