“Where did he go?” Killian asked.

“Dang it, he got away,” Lucio added. “I think he’s beginning to fear us now. While we were out yesterday, we didn’t get attacked. That was very surprising.”

“I had also noticed that we weren’t attacked, Lucio. Do you know what this means?” Killian asked.

“No,” Lucio responded.

“This means that we can go out whenever we like without watching our backs, worrying when we would get attacked. We’re free now!” Killian exclaimed.

I saw Ricky glaring angrily at Melo like if he’d got the chance, he would have strangled her right there on the spot.

“Why are you glaring at her in such a way?” I asked. “She’s not to blame for his escape.”

“You know everything, Laura. But let me tell you something, there are several things you don’t know Laura,” Ricky said as he angrily retreated to his room.

What does he mean by that? He’s such a hothead. Why’s he so grumpy always? I only told him not to blame Melo for his escape and he got angry, I thought.
