Evangeline’s POV

Everything happened so suddenly that I barely get a chance to understand what exactly happened.
I tried to free his grip around my neck but miserably failed at first. My food pipe squeezed under his clutch.
“You have been very…very bad, Angel”, Instead of his brown eyes, his eyes were golden. Like gold burning in fire and his voice was dense, thick, and rough.
‘Ivory’, I called for my wolf and tried again to free my neck from his grip. And this time I was finally succeeded in losing his grip a little.
