17 - Temptation

Without a second glance to Jeremy, Edge headed toward the main door of the villa.

My vision was blurry. Was I dreaming? What is he doing here? I am too drunk. Definitely too drunk.

When Jeremy looked at Edge getting out of the car, he tried to recognize the unknown man. Perhaps because he looked familiar, Jeremy tried to recognize him but couldn’t. The alluring and arrogant posture of the man gave him a feeling that he is someone that he shouldn’t mess with.

On the other hand, Edge walking past us straight when Jeremy called out to him.

“Hi, sir. Can I ask if you are Light’s brother?” Jeremy gathered his courage to ask politely. He remembered her talking about her brother many times to her friends but he had never seen his face.

Edge halted, turned his head and looked into Jeremy’s eyes without uttering a word. His eyes widened as soon as he heard my name. And that is when his eyes noticed me. My eyes were barely open as I leaned against Jeremy with his arms around me.
