Chapter 7

Theda POV

Slowly and miraculously, a week passed. I had taken the Omega quarters as my new home and tried my best to be law-abiding despite the multiple yells I received from Zoey.

I lived in the shadows of every other person in the quarters. Like most of the Omegas, I wasn't allowed to go out of the quarter and only a few can leave when they have to run an errand for Zoey.

One thing was strange and creepy. It was the way Zoey and a few of the high-ranked Omegas stare at me. It was really weird because I found them whispering after staring long at me but I pretended not to care much, neither did I confront them.

I was done sweeping the assigned portion of the quarter, I was cracking my knuckles to relax my sprained little finger bones when someone walked past me, shoving me with a shoulder that caused me to stumble.

I fell to the ground, luckily with my hands and I heard a roar of disgusting laughter.

I arose, dusting my clothes as I spun to meet three girls.
