Zayden’s P.O.V.

“Something really bad is going to happen soon!”

It was for the third time in one sitting that Blitzer warned me of an unseen trouble. I gritted my teeth and scolded him inwardly.

“What else is remaining, Blitzer? Shut your ominous mouth, or I’ll sew your mouth permanently.”

When Carver gave me an invitation to the party, he specifically mentioned that it was his date night as Helena asked him out.

Firstly, I thought of refusing politely, as Carver must be lying. Helena would never select a cheap show off like him. Her taste in men was unique, she always preferred simple and decent boys over playboys.

But when he sent me a voice message, it broke the castle of my hopes.

“Don’t you think marking me will also decrease your rank in your pack?”

“What?”

Helena had considered his offer of marking as a gesture of sincerity?

This revelation alone was enough to depress my wolf, Blitzer howled in agony.

“I also want to mark my Luna!”
