It’s been a month and things between Maven, and I are still weird and uncomfortable. He has stayed for a movie night only once since he acted all jealous over me.

I try not to let it bother me, but it’s hard whenever I have considered him to be one of my closest friends.

Lately, I’ve noticed that my wolf seems to be more present than ever before. It’s weird and exhilarating. She doesn’t talk to me much, but she has been wanting me to shift more frequently. I love it, I love the feel of the wind in my fur as we run around. The only confusing thing is now that my wolf is more present, I’ve started to feel more drawn towards Maven. It’s hard since he doesn’t seem to want me around.

I walk up to his office to bring him his lunch. He stands up to take it from me and when our hands brush, I feel an electric shock that causes me to gasp. I would’ve dropped the tray if Maven hadn’t already taken it.
