Chapter 35 | Where Am I?

When I woke up, I was in a room all by myself, except for Henry lying in a cot. I walk over to him as he is crying loudly, and I pick him up and try to calm him down. I look around the bland room, it looks like I’m inside a home that hasn’t been settled in yet. The only thing in here was the cot where Henry laid.

There isn’t even a bed in here for me. I pace back and forth with Henry in my arms as I try to settle his cries. The door opens and I turn to see a man that I recognize. He was the rogue wolf that I met when I was leaving the White Fang Pack.

He smiles at me as he asks, “How do you feel, Amelia?”

My eyebrows furrow and I hold Henry close to me as I ask, “What the hell is going on here, Ross?”
