Alpha Dominic’s POV:

knocked on the door of Astrid’s mother, who was sitting with a few maids. Upon

my entrance, they all immediately stood up from their positions. The maids and

her mother lowered their heads in a bow, and I acknowledged them with a nod.

“Alpha

Dominic, I am delighted you came for a visit.,” her mother said softly. I could

see the resemblance she shared with Astrid’s features, which comforted me.

the new kingdom suits you, Mrs....” I didn’t know what to add, so I smiled at

her.

I am Kathelene Arthur Wallace,” She replied proudly.

“I want

to talk to her in private. Close the door when you all leave.” I ordered the

maids, who instantly took off, to leave the chamber.” Also, inform everyone

that all meetings for today have been canceled.”

Alpha.” I heard the sound of the door closing and then turned my full attention

to Mrs. Wallace. Her wrinkled eyes closely looked into mine to find the reason

for my visit without asking it.
