Chapter Eighteen

Lina POV
When I wake up to the sun shining through the windows, I remember it’s Monday. I am nervous about going to school, I know Ken and the football players will be there. But I also know I won’t be alone; I will have Alex and our friends.
I turn around and look at Alex, who is still sleeping. I let a finger softly run over his face, thinking I am lucky that he found me and that he wants me and didn’t reject me. His eyelids start fluttering and he opens his gray eyes looking at me and smiles at me.
“Morning baby. Did you sleep well?” I nod my head.
“I did, I am just nervous for today, going to school.”
“I know and I wish I could say it will be easy, but I can’t. I can only promise you won’t be left alone. At any time” I smile at him and kiss him

Lina POV. We are driving into the parking lot at school. And I don’t feel like I want to get out of the car. I see everyone heading for the big front doors. Another low moan comes out the door and something about knowing the sounds come from him, makes me get out of bed and go to the door. Alex POV.When I wake up, Lina is still laying with her head on my chest. I gently move her and go enter the bathroom. Instead of taking a shower, I start to fill up the tub adding bubble bath soap with lavender to it, knowing it has a calming effect.
