Iris:“Promise me you’ll be good, princess” I said gently, leaning down on my knee in front of Ariana.She nodded, wrapping her arms around my neck, hugging me tightly. I knew that she saw and treated me like her mother, and it killed me to know that I planned on ending her whole pack, and to save her, I had to ensure her not seeing the same thing that I saw when I lost my parents.“I’ll be good, Iris” she said gently.
