Chapter 193: Absence

The tension in the air of Louis and Mia was choking but unfortunately it was only Louis that felt that way. Mia who was on the hot seat of questioning didn’t have an ounce of regret about her earlier actions.

“We can’t keep the baby”

It was these words that finally sparked a reaction from her. The look in her eyes changed instantly and the once quiet room knew the sound of her voice.

“What’d you just say?”

“You heard me right, there’s only Bella in my heart. What’d you think was gonna happen between us? That I’d marry you and we’d live happily ever after?!”

A scoff of disbelief and anger escaped her lips and she faced him head on in the dimly lit room. “How shameless are you gonna get? Are you planning to keep pretending like you don’t remember what happened that night?”

“For the love of God Mia, I was drunk! I was wasted! Whatever conversation we had, whatever thing you think we had was meaningless so please quit this game and get rid of that baby!”
