"Leo?" Mom knocked on my door and came in as soon as I told her to.

"Anything wrong?" I asked when I saw how sunken she looked. I assumed it was one of her usual dramatic antics but then again, it seemed serious.

"We need to talk." She said grimly, lips meshed into a thin line.

"Is there a problem?" I asked in concern.

"Just come with me."

I followed her closely until we were sat in her bedroom where she broke into tears over what I don't even know.

"What's wrong mom?" I asked, few seconds into her bout of tears. I knew how this worked, I could not delay asking her what was making her cry but I could not ask with immediacy either because she had not let out the first set of tears.

"It's your father," she sniffed.

"What about him?"

"I feel like he's cheating on me again."'

"Dad would never do that." I said, ignoring the 'again' part because I wasn't sure I was ready to hear the details.
