Lily actually came through for me and handed me some of her dresses to pick from. After sizing up a few, I decided to settle for a black lacy gown that flowed just below my knees and matches with my ankle boots perfectly.

Carlos was with us the whole time that I couldn't afford to get Lilly to talk to me about my parent or anything else that would put her in an uncomfortable position with Carlos or anyone else.

Turns out Lily is Carlos' mate.
