Carlo's wolf continued to stalk towards me with paws light and careful against the bare floor like a predator after its prey.

I took a step backward, my right hand going forward to stop him if he even think about coming any closer.

"Stay away from me" I growled at his wolf and it came to a stop a few distance from me with a low growl of his own before it shifted back into his human form with his hands held up in surrender.

"Calm down Ava. I can explain, just listen to me alright? I know you are upset right now but I can totally explain. Just give me a chance"

I scoffed at him, "you had enough chance to explain things to me all these damn time but what did you do? You choose to lie instead. You must think me to be a fool didn't you?, brought me all the way here just to find out the same freaking truth you would have told me back in  my room the night we left. I mean, how long were you planing to keep lying to me huh? How long? Maybe for ever
