Chapter 40- Repaying Betrayal

I walked towards the gates, I wasn't scared of getting hurt, I knew that Enzo wouldn't hurt me. As soon as I was there I knocked on the gate. The gates were opened by a tall big man, he had a frown on his face as he scanned my features.

“Who are you,” he spat out.

“Tell Alpha Enzo, Luna Camilla is here to see him,” I responded. As soon as he caught my name his eyes widened and without any words, he opened the gate for me to come in.

I went in and the smell of blood hit me, and also the smell of death. The quiet peaceful pack I had known seemed dead and deserted, I could guess Enzo had most of the pack members locked away in their homes to avoid a rebellion.

“Where is yourAlpha ,” I spat at the man, as I looked around me in horror.

“He is at the pack house,” he responded and I stormed towards the pack house. My breath got caught in my throat when I found people's heads placed on top of a pole. It took a few seconds for recognition to pass through my eyes.

That was my father’s beta and
