ALYSSA’S POV. I stepped down from the cab and saw a familiar figure sitting on the ground crying. I walked towards the figure and squat down. “Hey, are you okay?” I asked as I touched her shoulder. ALYSSA’S POV. The blaring sound of my annoying alarm woke me up from my peaceful sleep. My dreams felt so real, it was about a certain someone I have a huge crush on, and I dreamt about him kissing me like his life depended on it. Fuck you alarm. After taking a nice hot bath to relieve all my stressed muscles, I went back to the living room. “Hey Aly, come eat dinner.” I heard Mum’s say. “Thanks, mum.” I pecked her cheek and saw Maria still seating on the couch, “Maria, come on.” She shook her head. “Oh, I’m filled up already. I took my cuff links and wore them under the squinting gaze of Chelsea. “Where are you going, Daddy?” Chelsea asked for the umpteenth time and I sighed. “I’ve told you before baby, I’m going to a business dinner party, and I’ll be home late. So go to bed and don’t wait for me.” I said as a matter of fact and she nods. XAVIER’S POV. I glared at their backs as they took the road to the backstage. I was still standing, baffled at MK's utterance and also Alyssa’s. I can’t believe she dare go against me, even when I insisted on her not doing it. She better get ready to receive her punishment for defiling me when she comes back, but to think about it, this is actually the first time my secretary is talking back at me and making her own decisions. ALYSSA’S POV. I still couldn’t believe the face I saw in the mirror after the quick makeover, James is very talented, and he knows what to do with my face. XAVIER’S POV. I frowned as she gasped with a guilty look. How could she forget about Chelsea, I know what I passed through when she didn’t see her this morning or yesterday. Chelsea cried throughout the whole night and this morning, thinking her Nanny left her like her mother did.
