CHAPTER EIGHTY-EIGHT - WHEN H*LL FREEZES OVER

Tony POV

“Where are you going?” I asked when I noticed her tiptoeing out of my bedroom as the first rays of sunlight hit the open windows and landed on my face.

It was what woke me up.

My hands groped the other side of the bed to feel my companion and encountering an empty, cold space had me bolting out of bed. And that was when I saw her.

Tory’s hand was on the knob, ready to twist it open when I asked her.

Jolted, she turned around to watch me get up from the bed naked.

I saw her gulp.

“Will you cover yourself?” She said waspishly.

I thought she was being coy, so I teased her.

“What’s the use of getting dressed when you have already seen all of me and feasted on every square inch of my body last night?”

She blushed at the reminder. But then, she turned again to face the door. This time, when her hand connected to the knob, she pulled it toward her. The door opened, and she stepped out.

“Where are you going?”

Now that her actions fully registered, I dared to ask.
