CHAPTER 115: THE COURT HEARING

Talon’s POV

The next day, I woke up early to make sure I was ready for the court hearing. I knew it was going to be a difficult day, but I was determined to see it through. Naya was feeling better after a good night's sleep, but she was still nervous about what was to come.

As we drove to the courthouse, I could feel the tension in the air. Naya was clutching my hand tightly, her eyes darting around nervously. I tried to reassure her as best I could, telling her that everything was going to be okay.

When we arrived at the courthouse, we were ushered into a small room where we waited for the hearing to begin. The minutes ticked by slowly, and I could feel Naya getting more and more anxious.

Finally, the judge entered the room, and the hearing began. Nelson was brought in, looking sullen and defeated. He had already been found guilty of attempted murder on a pregnant woman, and we were there to hear his sentence.
