Life was a lot better without Nelson around. For the first time, Naya and I felt secured. It felt like there were no villains in our lives anymore. Five months after the whole drama with Nelson, I realized that we had moved on.

The house was bubbling with excitement. My dad was no longer in so much shock. He had been heartbroken when Nelson was sentenced to jail, but things changed. His mood became a lot lighter and he wasted no time in showing how happy he was.
