I saw my opportunity and acted on instinct.

With all the strength I could muster, I lunged at Alpha Marcus, catching him off guard. The seer's attention was momentarily diverted, and I managed to break free from her grasp.

Ignoring the pain and fear, I ran as fast as I could, weaving through the fortress's maze-like corridors.

I ran off even when I couldn't see anything.

I didn't know anywhere around, and I was a bit scared. For the only fear of losing my child.

The air was heavy with the scent of desperation as I dashed through the dimly lit corridors.

Panic coursed through my veins, urging me to keep moving despite the uncertainty that gripped me. Every turn I made was a gamble, a desperate bid to evade capture.

But as I sprinted down one corridor, my heart sank. Ahead of me, a group of heavily armed guards blocked my path, their eyes filled with determination. It was a dead end. Trapped, with nowhere else to run.
