Payback time.

Emily's POV.

Now here is the drill.

After what Tyler did to me, I couldn't let it slide. How could he throw my out. if not for the angel that came as a maid and showed me one of the guest rooms, I would have slept in the hallway. I wanted to teach him a lesson. He should learn how to treat a lady.

I thought all night but I couldn't come up with something. Maybe it is because I was tried and stress. So, I slept. I knew if I wake in the morning, I would come up with something nice.

I was still asleep when I heard someone knocking on my door. Told all the servants not to disturb me. I just wanted to sleep. Besides I am not a morning person. I thought I would just ignore the person and sooner or later he or she would stop but the person is so persistent.

"Go away!" I yelled and threw the thing closet to the door. It was like the person didn't hear me. Is it Tyler? I swear if it is him, I will crack his skull open. I stormed to the door, ready to unleash my anger on anyone that was present there.

"I said no one sho…" My mouth became shut immediately I opened the door and saw Tyler's mom's smiling face. 

"Mrs. Bay I…"

"Mother." she corrected me. "And I am so glad you are okay. May I come in?" she said with a smile on her face.

"Of course, of course." I opened the door for her to get in. we both sat on the bed.

I have always like Mrs. Bay. She has always been warm and welcoming unlike her son. We both sat on the bed, awkwardly silent. I didn't know what I would tell her. 

"I heard about yesterday." She finally said.

"Ahh." I gave her a little smile. I didn't want to involve her in this. This is between me and Tyler.

"I would like to apologize for the way my son treated you. It wasn't right"

"There is no need for that Mrs. Bay…"

"Mother." she corrected me again. She does love me. How my I supposed to get her to hate me when she already likes me when I haven't done anything.

Emily chuckled. "Mother, it was Tyler fault and you don't need to apologize for him. Parents are not meant to pay for the crime of their children." She doesn't need to apologize for Tyler. this was his doing and he will pay for it. I saw her smile and it felt nice. It felt like I had my mother with me.

"We have a Bay family tradition. The new daughter cooks for the family after the wedding. but you don't have to worry; we can do it tomorrow. Just rest today." Mother told me. I would have to cook? 

First of all, I don't know how to cook. I have never been to the kitchen in my entire life. I know once or twice dad told me to learn but I ignored him. but on second thought, this could be just what I need. Like a bulb light, something sparked me and I got a plan.

"Okay mother. thank you." I agreed with a smile. 

"You are welcome, dear." She smiled at me and felt the room for me to continue my sleep.

I woke around evening time and when to the kitchen. I saw a few maids in there cleaning up but one really stood out for me. it was the same maid that got me the room that night.

"Good evening, ma'am." They all bowed to me. Wow, red dawn really take respect seriously. At Crescent mansion, they don't really do things like this. I waited for must of the servants left. Thankfully, the moon goddess was on my side. That maid was the only one left.

"Hi." I said with a welcoming smile.

She looked around her. When she was sure she was the one I was talking to, she turned and bowed. 

"No need for all the formalities. What is your name?"

"Maya ma'am."

"Maya, I am Emily. Nice to meet you." I said to her with a smile. She gave me a friendly smile and bowed. She didn't give up the formalities but at least she smiled.

"I will be cooking tomorrow." I informed her.

"Yes, my lady told us. We will assist you in any way we can."

"Thank you. I just want to know if there is anything I have to keep in my before I cook. I would like to buy the ingredients myself." I kept my smile up. I just hope she had something good.

She thought for a while. "The luna doesn't have any special conditions but she does choose what she can and cannot eat depending on the day." she smiled at me.

"What about the alpha?"

She looked at me strangely.

"My husband."

"Ah, he doesn't really eat here must of the time but I heard he is allergic to peaches."

"Peaches?"

She nodded.

"How allergic?"

"I know there was one time he got huge rashes and bumps because of it but the doctor came and everything was okay."

Wow, I have heard of wolfs having allergies but I have never seen it. Well, I can believe it. He is a mama's boy, of course he will have something like this.

"Thank you so much for your help, Maya. And can we keep this between us? I don't want Mother to get upset. She said I should leave everything for tomorrow."

"Of course, madam." She said with a smile and left.

Immediately, I got my plan into motion. I went upstairs and grabbed my card and car keys and went to the market. Beforehand, I browsed some recipes and got the ingredients. I also bought six bags of peaches. As they say go bigger go home.

I came back a stocked everything away but I had to be extra careful so I kept the peaches with me. tomorrow will be a good show.
