Tyler's POV

The car stopped in front of the house and mom came down immediately. I feared she was avoiding me because, throughout the drive home, she didn't answer any of my questions nor did she look at me.

I knew what mom was doing but I didn't want it. I can't marry that girl. She is so unlucky for me. She is a spoiled brat who survives on her father's money. She doesn't understand the blood and sweat it takes to build a pack or a company. She will never understand the responsibilities and duties of a Luna to her husband and the pack.

I ran after my mom before she could escape. "Mom was this what you meant when you said you would fix things? by ruining my life?"

She took a deep breath , turned to me and smiled with so much affection. A smile that is good enough to wipe her sleate clean but i wasnt a fool. i will not fall for this her tricks. "I am not ruining your life, I am making it better. You will have a Luna and I will have a daughter-in-law." She said with a lot of excitement in her voice.

I didnt understand were she was coming from, I couldn't even start to comprehend it. "Mom, you do realize that Emily and I hate each other. We don't see eye to eye on things. Besides, I am the one to pick who I marry, right?" 

After I said that she was silent. I thought she was rethinking her decision. I wanted to jump for joy because only the heavens know what will happen if I marry Emily. My life will be complete torture.

Out of nowhere, my mom burst out laughing. "What do you mean the both of you hate each other? Have you seen the way you look at each other? Even Henry sees it."

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you feel the attraction between you two? I mean, you slept with her."

"Mom, that was a mistake and you know it." I made it clear.

"Maybe, maybe not." She said, "And, the both of you will be having dinner soon so be nice." and left.

I went straight to my office and got out a drink. Oliver came in immediately.

"How did it go? Where did you and the Luna go? Did you fix it?" he asked in a go.

I looked at him. what will I tell him? that I am getting married to Emily? Or the fact that Mom thinks I am in love with her? The thought of it made me cringe.

"What? Say something?" he yelled at me impatiently.

I googled my drink and dropped the glass. 

"I need you to find Everything you can on Emily."

"On Emily? Did something happen?" he asked concerned.

"I want everything on her. what she does, where she does everything."

"Yes, alpha." he bowed and left.

I was going to end this, either by hook or by crook.
