Surprise dinner

Tyler's POV

I have never been this scared in my life. I know my mom; she will not kill me but she is really pissed right now and only the moon goddess knows what she will do. I am not really afraid of my mom. She is the sweetest person you could ever know but she isn't the Luna of Red Dawn for no reason. 

She called me back home, probably because of the video. I didn't know what I would say to her when I got home but it happening and I had to think of something and I had to think of it fast. 

Immediately I got to the Bay mansion, I was taken to my study like some kind of hostage. I guess the Luna is greater than the Alpha now. She was there, seated waiting for me. She asked the servant to leave when she saw me. 

"Do you have an idea what you just did?" 

"Mom, I can explain. The thing is…"

"Explain what?! What the hell do you want to explain?!" she yelled at me cutting me off. "Do you have any idea the consequences of what you have done? This is not only affecting the pack but our damn business!!" she yelled at me making my heart skip a beat. 

"Mother, if you just give me a chance to explain I can tell you…" I tried to calm her down but to no avail. She was pissed, extremely pissed. 

"What the heck do you want to explain? The whole world now sees the president of Bay empire as someone who goes around sleeping with women!!"

"Mom, I know you are angry but I will fix it I promise."

"No need. I will do it myself. Better be ready by 8." She said and walked towards the door.

"Where are we going?" 

"To clean up the mess you made." She left the door, banging the door so loud that it shook the whole house.

I didn't understand what was happening. How did this get so wrong? Now I am sure of it, that girl is really bad luck for me. Immediately she came into my life, everything just started going south.

I got ready and followed Mom. I could feel it in me, she was planning something and I would not like it at all.

"Mom, where are we going?" I asked and she was silent.

"Mom, what are you going to do?" she still remained silent. I looked the other way and waited till we got there and to my greatest surprise, it was the Waston-King mansion. I looked at her. what the hell are we doing in this cursed place?

"Stay put and follow me." my mom told me with a warning gaze and got down from the car. I followed her and as they opened the door, Henry and Emily were there to welcome us.

"Welcome to my home. Please come in." Henry said with a welcome smile. I looked at Emily and she looked so surprised. So, she didn't know we were coming?

I looked at my mother but she gave me an oblivious look and walked inside. Now, I was really interested in what she was planning. I just hope she doesn't I would like.

They served the meal and we started to feast. They prepared for our coming. There were a lot of delicacies. From grilled beef to fried chicken and so many assorted meals.

"Please enjoy, make yourself at home," Henry said with a smile.

We dug in and started eating. As we ate, I heard a phone vibrate and it was Emily's. I saw how her mood shifted immediately and she left the table to answer a call. she came back after a while and we continued our meal. She was a little stiff. I wonder who would have called to make the almighty Emily Waston-King worry. 

"Thanks for honoring my request, Henry." My mother said out of the blue. She was the one who asked for this meeting?

"For old time's sake." He raised his glass. "Besides I loved the offer."

"Mom, what offer is he talking about?" I asked. I looked at Emily, she also seemed suspicious. She turned to her father, trying to get answers as well.

"Well, the thing is, due to your scandal, we have been forced to take drastic measures to make sure it goes away," Henry said.

"So?" I asked with my brow arched up. please let it not be what I am thinking.

"So…." Henry couldn't look into my eyes. He kept on looking everywhere else. What the hell is going on here?

"Dad, what is going on?" Emily asked.

"THE BOTH OF YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED." My mother finally broke the shell.

"WHAT?!!!!!" Emily and I said at the same time. We were both in shock.

"Mom, what are you talking about? What do you mean by marriage"

"Well, after what the both of you did, the only way I could think of was marriage. Besides you are both from good families. So, I reached out to Henry and he loved the idea." 

"Mom, I can't marry her! What happened that night was a mistake that we can't even remember." 

"Dad, he is right," Emily said to her dad. "I can't marry him. What happened that night was a mistake and there are so many ways we can get rid of this scandal without marriage." She looked at me like she wanted to strangle me.

This girl is crazy. She is making it look like I want to marry her. I don't even like her in the first place.

"Besides, I don't even like him," she added.

"And you think I like you? You are bad luck for me!!" I yelled at her.

"Well, there is nothing both of you do about it. We are already printing out the invitation cards. The both of you are getting married." Mom announced and stopped the both of us from arguing.

"Mom?!"

She stood up, "It was a wonderful meal alpha King." She bowed and left.

I looked at Emily and her father. What the heck just happened? Is mom really serious? Am I marrying this girl? No! there is no way. 

I followed after Mom; she must think she is Joker of the Year because he can't really be serious.
