CHAPTER 25. FEELING AWKWARD

"Pa-pads?" Alex gaped like a fool.

"I tried not to say it but you forced me to, Alex! And you, shame on me." Angelina bowed her head deeply because she was so embarrassed.

Just as Angelina was embarrassed, Alex was also embarrassed.

'If I knew it would be like this I wouldn't have asked so many questions earlier. Shit!' Alex inwardly grumbled. His Tahham moved to scratch the nape of his neck which was not itchy.

"Ehm! I'll drive you. You can wait in the car. I need to make sure you're safe, rather than me having to look for you if you pass out on the street and then get buried in snow," Alex said, trying to break up the awkward atmosphere.

"Hm," Angelina responded without opening her mouth. Then wordlessly Angelina went out first and chose to wait for Alex in the car alone, just like what Alex said.

"Shame on you! You're so stupid, Alex, stupid, stupid!" Alex cursed himself as Angelina left their room.

But suddenly Alex chuckled to herself. "But she looks so adorable with her red face
