CHAPTER 24. AGREEMENT

Angelina blinked her eyes several times, she was quite frightened because Alex's aura was suddenly creepy especially with the loud noise Alex made because of pounding the table made Angelina shrink even more.

"A-Alex, you-you, why are you suddenly angry?" Angelina said with a stammer.

It was obvious that Angelina was scared even though the hadith did not say it. Instantly Alex regretted having made Angelina surprised and afraid.

Alex rubbed his face roughly, regaining self-control.

Then the man let out a rough breath before he said something. "I'm sorry, Angelina." That was the first sentence out of Alex's mouth. "I lost control, I'm sorry I scared you."

Angelina did not respond. Instead, the girl was busy controlling her frightened self.

"I-I'm angry because you always mention debt and debt, even though I never considered it a debt at all. I took you away from there because you had to, don't think about money, please, forget about it." Alex said at length.
