Chapter 59

Roselyn:

Thinking my hearing was a bit bad, I sat back when I thought I heard the doorbell ring and chuckled while watching the twins chase after themselves in the living room. The doorbell rang again and this time I was sure I wasn't imagining things, reluctantly standing up, I went to the door and yanked it open, ready to make fun of Talia whom I thought should be a long distance away from the house by now. I laughed softly, thinking she had forgotten something.

"So what made you forget Talia?" I asked, not bothering to look up.

"Hi." A masculine voice that I could never mistake resounded in my ears.

My eyes instinctively flew towards his direction and I sure wasn't dreaming.

"Hi Rose." Jackson greeted.

I batted my eyelashes, placed a hand on my hips, and stared back at him.

"Jackson? You? But what are you doing here?" I asked, shocked at his sudden yet glorious appearance.

"It's nice to see you, Rose." He commented.

Whether it was curiosity or admiration I couldn't tell but
