Chapter 18

Day 1

“Daddy, please always take care, ha. I love you, Daddy.” Davvy kissed her daddy’s cheeks while she was in Dave’s arms.

“Sure, baby. I’ll take care of myself for you. Daddy loves you too,” Dave replied to his daughter who was tender.

I was there observing their goodbyes conversation. Now it's because Dave is leaving for Bahrain for his business that will be opened there.

"I love you more, Daddy."

"And I love you to the moon and back."

"Daddy, come home right away, huh?"

"Sure baby." Davvy hugged it tightly and seemed to be crying with sadness.

I immediately took my eyes off them when Dave glanced at me. I pretended to be reading a magazine in the living room.

"Davvy."

"Yes, Daddy?"

"May I ask you something, baby?"

"What is it?"

Even though I wasn't looking at them my ears were focused on their conversation. I clearly heard their heart-to-heart goodbyes. They weren't far from me since Dave was leaving at that time.
