Julia POV

The car turned onto a narrow road, surrounded by towering trees. We followed the lane until the car came to a stop in front of a massive gate, its wrought iron adorned with intricate designs. A man opened the gate to let us in, and I couldn't help but stare in awe.

It wasn't just a house; it was a mansion, far larger than any place I had ever lived before. The warm terracotta hues of the building and the exquisite stonework gave it a majestic appearance. Classic arched windows and balconies with ornate railings added to their beauty. It’s dangerously beautiful. It looked like something out of a horror movie.

Throughout the ride, Romeo didn't utter a word to me, leaving me preoccupied with the unsettling things Enzo had said earlier. I couldn't understand what made this man so dangerous other than his well-known anger issues and strong sense of pride.
