4: As dangerous as they come

Jaclyn left Ken in the kitchen and she wanders through the rooms of the cottage, getting acquainted with her surroundings.

She wanders over to one of the inner rooms and, from the scent alone; she knows it’s Ken’s. The warm scent welcomes her further, and she widens the door and steps into the room. The neatness of his room is one thing she notices as she enters, which had always been Ken’s signature. He had even cleaned up after her a few times, which forced her to double her game of being alert and not dropping anything whenever she was around him.
