Chapter 103: Dawn Of A New Era

MAX POV

I paced to and fro in my house, thinking of the possible ways to make sure I get back into Allysa's life and to make sure I get closer to her.

I picked up my phone and paced to and fro before moving over to the door. “I have to do this now.” I muttered and opened the door before stepping out.

It's been a week and we've been living like strangers with just the occasional good morning and good day, that's not the deal or else I'm in for it.

As I approached her door, so many things ran through my mind. What if she overheard my conversation with Leah on that christening day? What if she knows what I'm doing secretly but decided to be discreet about it and avoid drama?

Is that the reason for her sudden change in attitude? I asked myself before knocking lightly.

“You can't do that!” I heard Allysa scream at Ariel as I rolled my eyes.

“Coming right now, who's it?” She asked.

“It's Max, may I come in?” I asked and she hesitated for a while before opening for me to come in.
