Chapter 26: Silence Treatment (1)

Alyssa's POV

I watched him as he continued laughing. I placed my hand on my chest, my heart was beating very fast when he was close to me earlier.

I got out of the bed, trying to create some distance between us. It's better to be safe than sorry.

“If I actually wanted to kiss you, I would ask for your permission first. So be rest assured,” I turned when I heard him say.

He blew a kiss in my direction and I was reminded of the prank.

“You think I forgot about the prank,” I fumed and picked up a fork and chased after him again.

“I thought you had your revenge already,” he yelled back running around.

“Not until I give you a piece of my mind,” he ran outside. I dropped the fork and picked up the slippers by the door and chased after him.

“Stop right there!” I threatened but he only snarled and kept running down the stairs.

“It's funny to see you restless, wifey,” he mocked and that fueled my anger, climbing down the stairs very fast.
