Chapter 58

Elena's POV 

It is been a week, we have been attacked by Xaphan and his father, Lucifer. We changed the place and now we are staying again in a deserted place. I don't know the exact name of the place, the only thing I know is that the house is surrounded by practically nothing and it is on the outskirts of the city. 

Every evening we come out of the four walls to have fresh air. Raphael has stopped going on duty from that day and he has assigned himself for the duty of our safety. 

After having dinner, I went to the backside of the house for brisk walking and to fill my lungs with fresh air. After making sure that Mimi is sleeping soundly Raphael joined me. 

Like every day, we walked hands in hands without saying anything. Raphael is already not a man who speaks much and after that incident, I have also started speaking less as we are living under a constant threat of getting caught, and most of the time my mood stays low.
