Chapter 64

Elena's POV

It is been three days since the doctors have discharged Raphael. That day he kept waiting for me but I didn't go to meet him. I am still not able to muster enough courage to face him. 

In fact from the day he has come to the home, I am just ignoring him, trying to avoid eye contact, refraining myself from indulging in any kind of conversation.

Today, at the time of lunch he was sleeping so I and Mimi had lunch together. I woke up from a siesta when I felt thirsty. I checked my bottle just to find it empty. I walked towards the kitchen to refill it. 

As I was crossing the hall I saw that Raphael's room door was open. I peeped into it slightly and found him having his lunch on the bed. He was struggling with the food because of the bandage on his right shoulder. He was trying to eat with his left hand. 

After giving it a thought, I decided to go into his room. The ignoring game is not going to work for long.
