Chapter 67

Raphael's POV

Today was a hectic day as I have just been promoted to the position of 'Chief of the Police' for accomplishing my mission of hunting down one of the most powerful and dangerous mafia clans. 

Earlier, I used to give extra hours to my work but these days I become frustrated whenever the time of my duty extends because now I have a wife waiting for me at my home. And I am spending my days among criminals when I should be spending them with my wife.    

It is been a month since our wedding and we haven't spent our quality yet and this is making me even more frustrated. By the end of the day, I become so tired that my eyes only see the bed and nothing else. Today, I promised to take her out but it is not possible now as it is already 5 minutes past 12. 

I sighed. 

Though I am lucky in this case as my sunshine never complains, she is very understanding, yet I am doing everything in my control to keep her happy.
