Chapter 34 Bear My Child Again

Paige’s POV

Noah really stayed all day, watching me. He’s not saying anything while I’m working but I can feel his stares. The intensity of his fury through his stares. I can’t work properly. I wanted to push him away, send him away but whenever I tried, he would threaten me by telling the people in this hotel about our past. It doesn’t matter actually. I don't care about the past anymore. What bothers me is the mess he would make. It’ll affect my family. It may affect my son.

"You'll come with me after work, Paige."

That made me still. I slowly lifted my face and looked at Noah with nothing but shock. Why?

He spread his arms on the backrest of the couch as he stared at me. "You're coming with me."

"I'm not going anywhere with you, Noah."

My heart raced in fear. He'll follow me home? No! He can't see my son!
