She looked at me as hatred flickered in her eyes. Without saying anything, she rushed to me to hurt me but Noah stood between us, stopping her.

"What is this, Noah?!" She growled at him, angrily. "Is this why you weren't answering my calls? Huh? Because you're seeing this flirty woman?"

I looked away. I feel so ashamed. Thalia just caught me in Noah's house. This is insanely unbelievable. I shouldn't have come here.

"And what the hell are you doing here, you bitch? Don't you have some shame? Flirting with my man, really?"

I gripped the sling of my bag. "I'm leaving."

"NO! STAY HERE, YOU SHAMELESS WOMAN. I WILL TEACH YOU A LESSON."

I looked at Noah. This situation is very familiar. I want to laugh. I was in her place before and now, I was the one that Noah is protecting. He's protecting me. I want to be happy because for the first time he defended but… I am the mistress. God! I didn't dream about being a mistress. I don't like this.
