Chapter 31: A Drunk Damsel

“Can’t you move any faster?” I spoke in impatience, literally on the edge of my seat.

Donovan gave me the side eye before training his attention back on the road ahead. “You need to relax. I can’t control the traffic with my mind and you know damn well how bad it can be at this hour. It’s rush hour, dude. Why don’t sit down, and keep your mouth shut otherwise I’ll throw your ass out of my car,” he seethed in utter annoyance.

Rolling my eyes, I sat back in my seat and crossed my arms, to keep me from fidgeting with them. I just wanted to get to the pub and make sure Miranda was okay. Heaven only knows what kind of people she was currently surrounded by and what they were doing to her. She certainly didn’t belong with that kind of crowd and if anything, I was really upset with her for even stepping foot in such a shoddy establishment.
