A knock coming from Kathleen room's door woke her up. "Go away." Kathleen murmured sluggishly. "Hey Kath wake up." Lora said as she opened Kathleen's room door. "Is she alright?" Lizzy whispered as she stood beside Lora. They both walked into Kathleen room and stood beside her bed. Lora went ahead and open her window cotton, allowing the morning sun into her room. "Arghh the sunlight." Kathleen murmured as she took the pillow beside her and covered her face. "Kath get up," Lizzy ordered. "lying down all day and crying won't help." "Yeah I know it isn't easy but you've got to face it," Lora said. "if Tony can, then you can." Lizzy snorted. "He has." Kathleen removed the pillow from her head and sat up. "what are you guys talking about?" "We know about the break up." Lora said. "How do you guys know about that because I am certain I didn't tell you anything when I got home yesterday." Lora walked to Kathleen bed and sat down beside her. "Uhm.... yesterday when you got back with that sad weird look on your face,you dropped your hand bag on the couch and ran up to your room, we didn't want to bother you that why we didn't check up on you." " Your hand bag fell down from the couch and the wedding invitation card slide out." Lizzy finished explaining. "What we are trying to say kath is you have to go to that wedding but you won't be going alone, Lizzy and I will be joining you" Lora said. "Yeah and we are going to give you a makeover," Lizzy chimed in."You are going to look hot and sexy to prove to Jones you're better off without him." "Lizzy it's Tony not Jones." Lora corrected. "Yeah same thing."lizzy said disgustingly. Kathleen didn't say anything, she just kept on staring at her friends. She still felt hurt about the break up and now she has to decide either to go or not. "Kathleen this will be fun, trust me." Lizzy assured Kathleen as sat beside her. "You can't let that jerk ass weirdo treat you like this. You should let him think you're weak to come."Lora said. "You have us to be with you during the wedding." Lizzy added. "Let go prepared for a wedding." Kathleen shouted as stood up on her bed. She was never going to let Tony win. What ever he was planning, inviting her for the wedding she is going to make him regret leaving her or cheating on her. "Yeah that's my girl." Lizzy said gaily, immediately relieved. Lizzy stood behind the chair as Kathleen was getting har make up done by Lora. "Am done" Lora announced after she finished the makeup. "Wow Lora, you did a great job."Lizzy commented "Yeah, I know." Lora said grinning. "Is this the nerd I shared my room with when I was in college? " Lizzy teased and Lora started laughing. " Haha, very funny Lizzy." Kathleen said as she stood up from the chair she was sitting and turned to Lora."thanks Lora." "You're welcome, now get dressed before we will be late." Lora said. Lizzy handed the dress to Kathleen." hurry up, we have a wedding to get to." Kathleen took the dress and went to bathroom to put it on. Few moments later, Kathleen came out. "Lizzy are you sure this is the dress you chose for me."Kathleen asked as she came out of the bathroom. She was wearing a short black handless grown that brought out her delicate curves, it has a v-neck line allowing her rounded globes to peek out. "Wow kath, you.look.fucking sexy," Lizzy commented. "I know you got this curves but you just have to hide them in those awkward suit you wear to work." "Yeah, I agree with that." Lora said as she crossed her hands. "Are you sure guys because this gown is short and tight and my boobs are kind of exposed."Kathleen complained. "I think your boobs are fine the way they are and the dress is perfect. Lora said calmly. "Lizzy, isn't this one of those gowns you wore to club?" "Yeah, it looks good on her right?" Lizzy asked smiling. "Really Lizzy, you want me to wear your outfit for club to a wedding?" "Kath you said you wanted something sexy and moreover it your dumb ex wedding, I don't see anything bad in it." "Yes I know but what about gown that is decent and sexy?" Kathleen asked. "Am sorry babe...... I don't do decent." Lizzy replied. "Quite complaining kath and let go turn this party around." Lora said. "Yeah let go." Lizzy said. They all carried their purses and started walking toward to the door. "Wait guys," Kathleen called." have you seen my glasses." " No Kath , you're not putting on that glasses."Lizzy said as she picked out eyes lenses from her purse "Must I use the eyes lenses?" Kathleen asked. "Yes kath."They said at the same time. ___________________ They sat down quite in the church and watch how the couple say their vows happily and the guest are all smiling happily. Kathleen has always dreamt of how she and Tony will end up together, starting a family together and living happily but now she has to watch him get married to another lady for only God knows how long they have been dating behind her back. Kathleen was hurt, betrayed and heart broken. She was dragged out from her thought by the noise of the guest who stood up clapping for the new wedded couple walking down the aisle holding each other hands and smiling. Lizzy and Lora stood up and glared at both of them while Kathleen just stared at them. "Now that the agony has ended, what should we do now?" Lizzy asked. "Excuse me please, do you know the location of the wedding after party." the lady that sat beside them asked. "There is an after party?" Lora and Lizzy asked astonished "Yeah there's." the lady rolled her eyes and left knowing that they wouldn't know the location of the after party. Lizzy snorted as she watched the lady walk away. "How rude." "Uhm hmm." Lizzy turned to Kathleen."There is an after party, you coming kath." "Have come this far so why stop now." Kathleen said warily. "But we don't know the location of the after party."Lora said. "leave that to me."Lizzy said grinning as she walked away. "where is she going?" Lora asked Kathleen. "Lizzy is going to do what she does best."Kathleen replied. Few minutes later Lizzy came back smiling."I told you I will get the address to the after party."Lizzy said proudly. "You didn't say that before you left."Lora said as she crossed her hands. "But I said leave that to me." Lizzy pointed out. "isn't the same." "Can you guys quite arguing and let go before I change my mind."Kathleen said sharply. "You heard her, let go." Lizzy said to Lora and walked out of the church. Lizzy called a cab to take them to the place. ******* ******* They entered the hall which was exquisitely decorated and filled with loud music but not too loud, it has the pictures of the Tony and his bride on the walls. "Wow this place is beautiful." Lora commented as she stared in awe. Lizzy turned to Lora and Kathleen."okay ladies, who do you do think paid for all this, Tony or his slut." "Lizzy" Lora called. "What?" "Tony is from a rich family but not this rich to put all this decorations by himself, the lady he got married to would have assisted him with the decorations." Kathleen thought. "You guys can go on, I want to use the toilet."Kathleen said as she turned around and walked away. Lizzy and Lora didn't say anything, they just stared as she walked away. "Does she know the direction of the toilet?" Lizzy asked. "Do you think all this make her feel better,Tony broke her heart and the worst is we talked her into coming to his wedding." Lora said sympathetically. "With the way you put it, I think we did an awful thing to talk her into this." Lizzy said. Lora turned to Lizzy. "You think so?" Lizzy nodded. "Let go meet her." Kathleen finally found the the ladies rest room after searching for a while. She stood in front of the mirror looking at her reflection, she looked different from the girl Tony knew, she never had to put on any makeup when ever she wants to see Tony because he likes her being natural.The five years she has been dating Tony were amazing, even though he wasn't always around, he comes late to their dinner dates, hates going to the club, laughs at her jokes but one thing she noticed was he never liked talking about his family.The years Kathleen spent dating Tony, she convinced herself Tony was the perfect man she has being waiting for since she was young, but now, she just realized that no man is perfect.They may put on an act for a long time and when they think they have you sewed up and tied down,they just dumbed you. "All this was my fault, if I hadn't fall for his kind gesture at the restaurant five years ago, I wouldn't have been at this mess." she murmured angrily. Lora open the toilet door, startling Kathleen. "Hey Kath we've been looking for you," Lora walked in."Are you alright." Kathleen sighed."I guess so." "Okay if you say so," Lora said gently. " let go have some drinks." "Okay let's go" Kathleen agreed and walked out of the toilet. "Where is Lizzy?" Kathleen asked as she didn't see Lizzy with Lora. "We went sideways when we were looking for you." Lora replied. " Hey girls, you won't believe who I saw on my to bar" Lizzy said as she walked towards them hurriedly. "But I thought you were looking for kath?" Lora asked. "Yes I was but I decided to stopped at the bar to asked the bartender where the ladies room was and to get a drink." Lora rolled her eyes."Too much for let go sideways." " But I didn't lie, I was actually looking for Kathleen."Lizzy shot back. "On my way there, I saw kath boss." Kathleen grasped. "What his he doing here?" Lora arched a brow." Are you sure Lizzy or is the drink you took at the bar that affecting you." "I said I was on my way to the bar NOT at the bar drinking." Lizzy pointed out angrily. "What was he doing?" Kathleen curiously asked. "He was talking to Tony."Lizzy replied.
